Nassau, Bahamas (Eagle News) – A tornado formed only a few steps from Bay Street, which is the main business hub of the area.
Severe, heavy rainfall began at 3:30PM accompanied by continuous thunder and lightning. Radar forecasts predict clusters of heavy showers and thunderstorms associated with a surface trough across the Northwest Bahamas….

Boaters were warned to seek shelter and residents in the area were instructed to find shelter in places away from windows.
As of now, there are no reported casualties and no significant damage. (Eagle News)
