(Eagle News)—A 2.0-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Sunday, April 7.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 12 kilometers northwest of Maydolong at 7:33 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake, which is of tectonic origin, was 19 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
