(Eagle News)—A 2.5-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Tuesday, April 9.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 40 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 6:35 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 192 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershovks were expected.
