(Eagle News)–A 2.7-magnitude earthquake struck Eastern Samar on Saturday, March 30.

The earthquake hit 39 kilometers northeast of San Policarpo at 5:12 a.m.

The depth of focus of the earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, was 32 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
