TEMPE, AZ (Eagle News) — Hamilton the Musical makes a stop at the ASU Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, AZ. Hamilton tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, a founding father of the United States of America. He was the one of the signers of the US Constitution, and was America’s first Secretary of Treasury. Written by Lin Manuel-Miranda, Hamilton was originally playing only in New York City. However, the popularity of the show has expanded by touring cities like San Francisco, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Hamilton has won 11 Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2016.
