(Eagle News)–A 3.2-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Saturday, Aug. 10.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 35 kilometers southwest of Sabtang at 7:18 a.m.
Depth of focus was 30 kilometers.
An instrumental intensity I was felt in Basco.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
