(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Saturday, Aug. 3.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the earthquakes in the province on July 27, hit 28 kilometers southeast of Itbayat at 7:55 a.m.
The depth of focus was 15 kilometers.
An intensity IV was felt in Itabayat.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
