(Eagle News)–A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar early Thursday, May 30.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 111 kilometers northeast of Palapag at 3:15 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 35 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
