(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Sunday, Sept. 6.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:18 a.m., had its epicenter 15 kilometers southeast of Sabtang.
It had a depth of one kilometer and was tectonic in origin.
An intensity II was reported in Basco.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
