(Eagle News) — A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Lanao del Sur on Thursday, a day after it was hit by a stronger one.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake which struck eight kilometers south of Wao town took place at 6:57 a.m.
Its depth of focus was shallow, at 21 km below the surface.
On Wednesday, magnitude-6 earthquake struck the same town at 5:21 a.m.
This was only two days after a series of earthquakes struck the provinces of Davao Occidental and Oriental.
