(Eagle News) — A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:41 p.m., was an aftershock of the 5.7-magnitude quake that hit the area on Sept. 27.
The 3.6-magnitude quake had its epicenter 71 kilometers northeast of Bayabas.
It had a depth of 18 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
