(Eagle News)—A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte early Tuesday, April 16.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 26 kilometers northeast of Abuyog at 12:48 a.m.
An instrumental intensity I was felt in Borongan, eastern Samar, PHIVOLCS said.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected from the quake, which was of tectonic origin.
