(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off La Union early Saturday, Sept. 12.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:49 a.m., had its epicenter 25 kilometers northwest of San Fernando.
It had a depth of 61 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
