(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur early Wednesday, April 17.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 41 kilometers southeast of Cagwait at 1:10 a.m.
The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 25 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded, PHIVOLCS said.
