(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar early Sunday, June 12.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 12:59 a.m.
The epicenter was 8 kilometers northwest of Jipapad.
The depth of focus was 27 kilometers.
An instrumental intensity I was reported in Borongan, Eastern Samar.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
