(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte on Thursday, Sept. 24.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 7:32 a.m., had its epicenter 40 kilometers northeast of Burgos.
It had a depth of 19 kilometers.
Instrumental intensity I was recorded in Surigao City.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
