(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Antique on Tuesday night.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 34 kilometers southwest of Laua-an at 7:18 p.m.
Depth of focus was one kilometer.
The following intensities were recorded:
Intensity III – Laua-an, Antique
Intensity II – Patnongon and Barbaza, Antique
The following instrumental intensities were also recorded:
Intensity II – Culasi, Antique
Intensity I – San Jose de Buenavista, Sebaste and Valderrama, Antique; Malinao, Aklan
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
