(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Thursday, April 4.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 116 kilometers southwest of Sabtang at 5:59 p.m.
Depth of focus of the quake, which was tectonic in origin, was 35 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
