4.0-magnitude quake hits Camarines Sur

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Camarines Sur on Friday, July 2.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:23 a.m.

It had its epicenter 26 kilometers northeast of Garchitorena.

The depth of focus was nine kilometers.

The following instrumental intensities were reported:

Intensity III – Pili, Camarines Sur
Intensity I – Sipocot, Camarines Sur; Daet, Camarines Norte

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
