(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 2:41 a.m., had its epicenter 423 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.
It had a depth of 79 kilometers, and was tectonic in origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
