4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Wednesday, Nov. 17.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:18 a.m.

Its epicenter was 16 kilometers southeast of General Luna.

The depth of focus was 23 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
