(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Leyte on Monday, June 27.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 9:39 a.m.
The epicenter was 3 kilometers northwest of Villaba.
The depth of focus was nine kilometers.
The following instrumental intensities were reported:
Intensity IV- Calubian, Leyte
Intensity II- Kananga and Ormoc City, Leyte; Naval, Biliran
Intensity I- Carigara, Leyte
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
