(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 11:42 a.m. 91 kilometers northeast of Hinatuan, was an aftershock of the December 2 7.4-magnitude quake that hit the province.
The depth of focus of the Dec. 26 quake was 24 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
