(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Sunday, Dec. 31.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake which hit at 8:52 a.m. was an aftershock of the 7.4-magnitude quake that hit the province on Dec. 2.
The epicenter of Sunday’s quake was 94 kilometers northeast of Hinatuan.
The depth of focus was 17 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
