(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Leyte early Saturday, December 5.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 12:49 a.m., had its epicenter six kilometers northwest of the province.
Depth of focus was 11 kilometers.
The earthquake was also tectonic in origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
