4.1-magnitude quake hits Negros Occidental early Sunday, March 7

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Negros Occidental early Sunday, March 7.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:32 a.m., had its epicenter nine kilometers northwest of Sipalay.

It had a depth of 19 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
