(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Batanes on Sunday, Aug. 4.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 9 kilometers southwest of Itbayat at 9:52 a.m.
Depth of focus was 13 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
