4.1-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Aug. 6

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Aug. 6.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:13 a.m., had its epicenter 368 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.

It had a depth of 254 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
