(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude aftershock struck Surigao del Norte on Friday, Feb. 15.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the aftershock from the 5.9-magnitude earthquake in the province on Feb. 8 hit 53 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 5:24 a.m.
The depth of focus was 9 kilometers.
No damage nor aftershocks were expected.
