(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Catanduanes early Thursday, April 6.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:45 a.m.
It said it was an aftershock of the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that hit offshore Catanduanes on April 4.
The epicenter of the quake on Thursday was 125 kilometers southeast of Gigmoto.
The depth of focus was 48 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
