(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Feb. 14.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake that hit at 3:59 p.m. was an aftershock of the 7.4-magnitude quake that struck the province early December last year.
The epicenter of today’s quake was 38 kilometers southeast of Hinatuan.
The depth of focus was 28 kilometers.
No damage to property nor
aftershocks were expected.
