(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6:40 a.m., had its epicenter 67 kilometers southeast of General Luna.
It had a depth of one kilometer and was tectonic in origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks.
