4.3-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, June 9.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 9:04 a.m.

The epicenter was 143 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 59 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
