4.3-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Sunday, Jan. 31.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:34 a.m., had its epicenter 60 kilometers southeast of Bayabas.

It had a depth of 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
