4.3-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental early Wednesday, Aug. 31

(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Wednesday, Aug. 31.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 4:41 a.m.

The epicenter was 245 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 98 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
