(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Ilocos Norte on Monday, Sept. 12.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 6:50 a.m.
The epicenter was 47 kilometers northwest of Burgos.
The depth of focus was 18 kilometers.
The following intensities and instrumental intensities were reported:
Intensity IV – Pasuquin, Bacarra, Bangui, Pagudpud, Adams, Pinili and Laoag City, Ilocos Norte
Intensity II- Sinait, Ilocos Sur
Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity IV – Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte
Intensity II – Vigan City and Sinait, Ilocos Sur
Intensity I – Claveria, Cagayan
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
