(Eagle News) — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Leyte early Friday, Jan. 28.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:44 a.m.
The epicenter was eight kilometers southwest of Capoocan.
According to PHIVOLCS, the instrumental intensity was the following:
Intensity IV – Ormoc City
Intensity II – Alangalang, Leyte
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
