4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental on Sunday, May 8.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 7:02 a.m.

The epicenter was 112 kilometers southeast of Tarragona.

The depth of focus was 79 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
