(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Wednesday, Dec. 13.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake that hit at 1:49 a.m. was an aftershock of the 7.4-magnitude quake that hit the province on December 2.
The epicenter of Wednesday’s quake was 131 kilometers east of Hinatuan.
The depth of focus was 13 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
