(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 5:03 a.m., had its epicenter 62 kilometers southeast of Homonhon Island.
It had a depth of 15 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
