(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Northern Samar on Sunday, Aug. 4.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 25 kilometers northwest of Pambujan at 7:17 a.m.
Depth of focus was 16 kilometers.
An intensity II was felt in Palapag, Northern Samar and Irosin in Sorsogon.
An instrumental intensity I was felt in Borongan City.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
