(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck Quezon on Monday, January 4.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:04 a.m., had its epicenter 25 kilometers southwest of San Francisco.
PHIVOLCS said this was an aftershock of the 5.2-magnitude earthquake that hit the area on December 25.
Monday’s earthquake had a depth of two kilometers.
Instrumental intensity I was recorded in Gumaca.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
