(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Monday, Oct. 25.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:54 a.m.
It had its epicenter 393 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.
The depth of focus was 94 kilometers.
According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake was of tectonic origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
