(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Bohol on Tuesday, March 26.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 6 kilometers northeast of Antequera at 10:53 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 9 kilometers.
These intensities were reported in the following areas:
Intensity V – Antequera, Bohol
Intensity IV – Tagbilaran City, Dauis, Cortes, Calape, Tubigon and Panglao Island, Bohol
Intensity III – Batuan and Carmen Bohol
Intensity II – San Miguel, Lila and Sagbayan, Bohol
Intensity I – Talibon, Bohol; Cebu City; Mandaue City; Dumaguete City and Sibulan, Negros Oriental
These instrumental intensities were also reported in the following areas:
Intensity III- Tagbilaran City
Intensity II – Cebu City
Intensity I – Sibulan, Negros Oriental
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
