(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 2:56 p.m., was an aftershock of the 7.4-magnitude earthquake that hit on December 2.
The epicenter was 131 kilometers northeast of Hinatuan.
The depth of focus was 16 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
