(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Tuesday, April 23.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake was an aftershock of the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that hit the province on December 2, 2023.
Tuesday’s earthquake struck at 7:21 a.m.
Its epicenter was 46 kilometers southeast of Hinatuan, while its depth of focus was 13 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
