(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 9:30 a.m.
It had its epicenter 12 kilometers southwest of Bayabas.
According to PHIVOLCS, the quake had a depth of four kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
