(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Cagayan early Saturday, Aug. 29.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 4:57 a.m., had its epicenter 43 kilometers southwest of Calayan.
It had a depth of eight kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
