(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Sunday, Sept. 12.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 4:14 a.m.
It had its epicenter 113 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos.
The depth of focus was five kilometers.
The earthquake, PHIVOLCS said, was of tectonic origin.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
