(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Thursday, June 17.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 6:19 a.m.
It had its epicenter 38 kilometers northeast of Burgos.
The depth of focus was 5 kilometers.
The following intensities were reported:
Intensity III – Burgos, Surigao Del Norte
Intensity II- San Isidro, San Benito and General Luna, Surigao Del Norte
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
